Surah An-Naba’

Daftar Surah

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
عَمَّ يَتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَۚ١
‘Amma yatasā'alūn(a).
[1] About what are they asking one another?

عَنِ النَّبَاِ الْعَظِيْمِۙ٢
‘Anin naba'il-‘aẓīm(i).
[2] About the great news -

الَّذِيْ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَۗ٣
Allażī hum fīhi mukhtalifūn(a).
[3] That over which they are in disagreement.

كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَۙ٤
Kallā saya‘lamūn(a).
[4] No! They are going to know.

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَ٥
Ṡumma kallā saya‘lamūn(a).
[5] Then, no! They are going to know.

اَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْاَرْضَ مِهٰدًاۙ٦
Alam naj‘alil-arḍa mihādā(n).
[6] Have We not made the earth a resting place?

وَّالْجِبَالَ اَوْتَادًاۖ٧
Wal-jibāla autādā(n).
[7] And the mountains as stakes?

وَّخَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَزْوَاجًاۙ٨
Wa khalaqnākum azwājā(n).
[8] And We created you in pairs

وَّجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًاۙ٩
Wa ja‘alnā naumakum subātā(n).
[9] And made your sleep [a means for] rest

وَّجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاسًاۙ١٠
Wa ja‘alnal-laila libāsā(n).
[10] And made the night as clothing

وَّجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًاۚ١١
Wa ja‘alnan-nahāra ma‘āsyā(n).
[11] And made the day for livelihood

وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًاۙ١٢
Wa banainā fauqakum sab‘an syidādā(n).
[12] And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]

وَّجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًاۖ١٣
Wa ja‘alnā sirājaw wahhājā(n).
[13] And made [therein] a burning lamp

وَّاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرٰتِ مَاۤءً ثَجَّاجًاۙ١٤
Wa anzalnā minal-mu‘ṣirāti mā'an ṡajjājā(n).
[14] And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water

لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهٖ حَبًّا وَّنَبَاتًاۙ١٥
Linukhrija bihī ḥabbaw wa nabātā(n).
[15] That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation

وَّجَنّٰتٍ اَلْفَافًاۗ١٦
Wa jannātin alfāfā(n).
[16] And gardens of entwined growth.

اِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيْقَاتًاۙ١٧
Inna yaumal-faṣli kāna mīqātā(n).
[17] Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -

يَّوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَتَأْتُوْنَ اَفْوَاجًاۙ١٨
Yauma yunfakhu fiṣ-ṣūri fa ta'tūna afwājā(n).
[18] The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes

وَّفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ اَبْوَابًاۙ١٩
Wa futiḥatis-samā'u fa kānat abwābā(n).
[19] And the heaven is opened and will become gateways

وَّسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًاۗ٢٠
Wa suyyiratil-jibālu fa kānat sarābā(n).
[20] And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.

اِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًاۙ٢١
Inna jahannama kānat mirṣādā(n).
[21] Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait

لِّلطّٰغِيْنَ مَاٰبًاۙ٢٢
Liṭ-ṭāgīna ma'ābā(n).
[22] For the transgressors, a place of return,

لّٰبِثِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَحْقَابًاۚ٢٣
Lābiṡīna fīhā aḥqābā(n).
[23] In which they will remain for ages [unending].

لَا يَذُوْقُوْنَ فِيْهَا بَرْدًا وَّلَا شَرَابًاۙ٢٤
Lā yażūqūna fīhā bardaw wa lā syarābā(n).
[24] They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink

اِلَّا حَمِيْمًا وَّغَسَّاقًاۙ٢٥
Illā ḥamīmaw wa gassāqā(n).
[25] Except scalding water and [foul] purulence -

جَزَاۤءً وِّفَاقًاۗ٢٦
Jazā'aw wifāqā(n).
[26] An appropriate recompense.

اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا لَا يَرْجُوْنَ حِسَابًاۙ٢٧
Innahum kānū lā yarjūna ḥisābā(n).
[27] Indeed, they were not expecting an account

وَّكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كِذَّابًاۗ٢٨
Wa każżabū bi'āyātinā kiżżābā(n).
[28] And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.

وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ اَحْصَيْنٰهُ كِتٰبًاۙ٢٩
Wa kulla syai'in aḥṣaināhu kitābā(n).
[29] But all things We have enumerated in writing.

فَذُوْقُوْا فَلَنْ نَّزِيْدَكُمْ اِلَّا عَذَابًا ࣖ٣٠
Fa żūqū falan nazīdakum illā ‘ażābā(n)
[30] "So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment."

اِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ مَفَازًاۙ٣١
Inna lil-muttaqīna mafāzā(n).
[31] Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -

حَدَاۤىِٕقَ وَاَعْنَابًاۙ٣٢
Ḥadā'iqa wa a‘nābā(n).
[32] Gardens and grapevines

وَّكَوَاعِبَ اَتْرَابًاۙ٣٣
Wa kawā‘iba atrābā(n).
[33] And full-breasted [companions] of equal age

وَّكَأْسًا دِهَاقًاۗ٣٤
Wa ka'san dihāqā(n).
[34] And a full cup.

لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّلَا كِذّٰبًا٣٥
Lā yasma‘ūna fīhā lagwaw wa lā kiżżābā(n).
[35] No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -

جَزَاۤءً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ عَطَاۤءً حِسَابًاۙ٣٦
Jazā'am mir rabbika ‘aṭā'an ḥisābā(n).
[36] [As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account,

رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمٰنِ لَا يَمْلِكُوْنَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًاۚ٣٧
Rabbis-samāwāti wal-arḍi wa mā bainahumar-raḥmāni lā yamlikūna minhu khiṭābā(n).
[37] [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech.

يَوْمَ يَقُوْمُ الرُّوْحُ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ صَفًّاۙ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُوْنَ اِلَّا مَنْ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا٣٨
Yauma yaqūmur-rūḥu wal-malā'ikatu ṣaffā(n), lā yatakallamūna illā man ażina lahur-raḥmānu wa qāla ṣawābā(n).
[38] The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct.

ذٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّۚ فَمَنْ شَاۤءَ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ مَاٰبًا٣٩
Żālikal-yaumul-ḥaqq(u), faman syā'attakhaża ilā rabbihī ma'ābā(n).
[39] That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return.

اِنَّآ اَنْذَرْنٰكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيْبًا ەۙ يَّوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُوْلُ الْكٰفِرُ يٰلَيْتَنِيْ كُنْتُ تُرٰبًا ࣖ٤٠
Innā anżarnākum ‘ażāban qarībā(n), yauma yanẓurul-mar'u mā qaddamat yadāhu wa yaqūlul-kāfiru yā laitanī kuntu turābā(n).
[40] Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"
