Daftar Surah

[1] A supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen

Lil-kāfirīna laisa lahū dāfi‘(un).
[2] To the disbelievers; of it there is no preventer.

Minallāhi żil-ma‘ārij(i).
[3] [It is] from Allah, owner of the ways of ascent.

Ta‘rujul-malā'ikatu war-rūḥu ilaihi fī yaumin kāna miqdāruhū khamsīna alfa sanah(tin).
[4] The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.

Faṣbir ṣabran jamīlā(n).
[5] So be patient with gracious patience.

Innahum yaraunahū ba‘īdā(n).
[6] Indeed, they see it [as] distant,

Wa narāhu qarībā(n).
[7] But We see it [as] near.

Yauma takūnus-samā'u kal-muhl(i).
[8] On the Day the sky will be like murky oil,

Wa takūnul-jibālu kal-‘ihn(i).
[9] And the mountains will be like wool,

Wa lā yas'alu ḥamīmun ḥamīmā(n).
[10] And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend,

Yubaṣṣarūnahum, yawaddul-mujrimu lau yaftadī min ‘ażābi yaumi'iżim bibanīh(i).
[11] They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children

Wa ṣāḥibatihī wa akhīh(i).
[12] And his wife and his brother

Wa faṣīlatihil-latī tu'wīh(i).
[13] And his nearest kindred who shelter him

Wa man fil-arḍi jamī‘ā(n), ṡumma yunjīh(i).
[14] And whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.

Kallā, innahā laẓā.
[15] No! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell],

Nazzā‘atal lisy-syawā.
[16] A remover of exteriors.

Tad‘ū man adbara wa tawallā.
[17] It invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from obedience]

Wa jama‘a fa'au‘ā.
[18] And collected [wealth] and hoarded.

Innal-insāna khuliqa halu‘ā(n).
[19] Indeed, mankind was created anxious:

Iżā massahusy-syarru jazū‘ā(n).
[20] When evil touches him, impatient,

Wa iżā massahul-khairu manū‘ā(n).
[21] And when good touches him, withholding [of it],

Illal-muṣallīn(a).
[22] Except the observers of prayer -

Allażīna hum ‘alā ṣalātihim dā'imūn(a).
[23] Those who are constant in their prayer

Wal-lażīna fī amwālihim ḥaqqum ma‘lūm(un).
[24] And those within whose wealth is a known right

Lis-sā'ili wal-maḥrūm(i).
[25] For the petitioner and the deprived -

Wal-lażīna yuṣaddiqūna biyaumid-dīn(i).
[26] And those who believe in the Day of Recompense

Wal-lażīna hum min ‘ażābi rabbihim musyfiqūn(a).
[27] And those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord -

Inna ‘ażāba rabbihim gairu ma'mūn(in).
[28] Indeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe -

Wal-lażīna hum lifurūjihim ḥāfiẓūn(a).
[29] And those who guard their private parts

Illā ‘alā azwājihim au mā malakat aimānuhum fa innahum gairu malūmīn(a).
[30] Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -

Fa manibtagā warā'a żālika fa ulā'ika humul-‘ādūn(a).
[31] But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors -

Wal-lażīna hum li'amānātihim wa ‘ahdihim rā'ūn(a).
[32] And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive

Wal-lażīna hum bisyahādātihim qā'imūn(a).
[33] And those who are in their testimonies upright

Wal-lażīna hum ‘alā ṣalātihim yuḥāfiẓūn(a).
[34] And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:

Ulā'ika fī jannātim mukramūn(a).
[35] They will be in gardens, honored.

Famālil-lażīna kafarū qibalaka muhṭi‘īn(a).
[36] So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad],

‘Anil-yamīni wa ‘anisy-syimāli ‘izīn(a).
[37] [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups?

Ayaṭma‘u kullumri'im minhum ay yudkhala jannata na‘īm(in).
[38] Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure?

Kallā, innā khalaqnāhum mimmā ya‘malūn(a).
[39] No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know.

Falā uqsimu birabbil-masyāriqi wal-magāribi innā laqādirūn(a).
[40] So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able

‘Alā an nubaddila khairam minhum, wa mā naḥnu bimasbūqīn(a).
[41] To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone.

Fa żarhum yakhūḍū wa yal‘abū ḥattā yulāqū yaumahumul-lażī yū‘adūn(a)
[42] So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised -

Yauma yakhrujūna minal-ajdāṡi sirā‘an ka'annahum ilā nuṣubiy yūfiḍūn(a).
[43] The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening.

Khāsyi‘atan abṣāruhum tarhaquhum żillah(tun), żālikal-yaumul-lażī kānū yū‘adūn(a).
[44] Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.
