Surah Al-Mu’minun
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قَدْ اَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۙ١
Qad aflaḥal-mu'minūn(a).
[1]
Certainly will the believers have succeeded:
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِيْ صَلَاتِهِمْ خٰشِعُوْنَ٢
Allażīna hum fī ṣalātihim khāsyi‘ūn(a).
[2]
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُوْنَ ۙ٣
Wal-lażīna hum anil-lagwi muriḍūn(a).
[3]
And they who turn away from ill speech
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ لِلزَّكٰوةِ فٰعِلُوْنَ ۙ٤
Wal-lażīna hum liz-zakāti fā‘ilūn(a).
[4]
And they who are observant of zakah
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ لِفُرُوْجِهِمْ حٰفِظُوْنَ ۙ٥
Wal-lażīna hum lifurūjihim ḥāfiẓūn(a).
[5]
And they who guard their private parts
اِلَّا عَلٰٓى اَزْوَاجِهِمْ اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُهُمْ فَاِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُوْمِيْنَۚ٦
Illā ‘alā azwājihim au mā malakat aimānuhum fa innahum gairu malūmīn(a).
[6]
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed -
فَمَنِ ابْتَغٰى وَرَاۤءَ ذٰلِكَ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْعَادُوْنَ ۚ٧
Famanibtagā warā'a żālika fa ulā'ika humul-‘ādūn(a).
[7]
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ لِاَمٰنٰتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُوْنَ ۙ٨
Wal-lażīna hum li'amānātihim wa ‘ahdihim rā‘ūn(a).
[8]
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَلٰى صَلَوٰتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُوْنَ ۘ٩
Wal-lażīna hum ‘alā ṣalawātihim yuḥāfiẓūn(a).
[9]
And they who carefully maintain their prayers -
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْوٰرِثُوْنَ ۙ١٠
Ulā'ika humul-wāriṡūn(a).
[10]
Those are the inheritors
الَّذِيْنَ يَرِثُوْنَ الْفِرْدَوْسَۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ١١
Allażīna yariṡūnal-firdaus(a), hum fīhā khālidūn(a).
[11]
Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلٰلَةٍ مِّنْ طِيْنٍ ۚ١٢
Wa laqad khalaqnal-insāna min sulālatim min ṭīn(in).
[12]
And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنٰهُ نُطْفَةً فِيْ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيْنٍ ۖ١٣
Ṡumma ja‘alnāhu nuṭfatan fī qarārim makīn(in).
[13]
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظٰمًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظٰمَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ اَنْشَأْنٰهُ خَلْقًا اٰخَرَۗ فَتَبَارَكَ اللّٰهُ اَحْسَنُ الْخٰلِقِيْنَۗ١٤
Ṡumma khalaqnan-nuṭfata ‘alaqatan fa khalaqnal-‘alaqata muḍgatan fa khalaqnal-muḍgata ‘iẓāman fa kasaunal-‘iẓāma laḥmā(n), ṡumma ansya'nāhu khalqan ākhar(a), fa tabārakallāhu aḥsanul-khāliqīn(a).
[14]
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُوْنَ ۗ١٥
Ṡumma innakum ba‘da żālika lamayyitūn(a).
[15]
Then indeed, after that you are to die.
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ تُبْعَثُوْنَ١٦
Ṡumma innakum yaumal-qiyāmati tub‘aṡūn(a).
[16]
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَاۤىِٕقَۖ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غٰفِلِيْنَ١٧
Wa laqad khalaqnā fauqakum sab‘a ṭarā'iq(a), wa mā kunnā ‘anil-khalqi gāfilīn(a).
[17]
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.
وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَاَسْكَنّٰهُ فِى الْاَرْضِۖ وَاِنَّا عَلٰى ذَهَابٍۢ بِهٖ لَقٰدِرُوْنَ ۚ١٨
Wa anzalnā minas-samā'i mā'am biqadarin fa askannāhu fil-arḍ(i), wa innā ‘alā żahābim bihī laqādirūn(a).
[18]
And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.
فَاَنْشَأْنَا لَكُمْ بِهٖ جَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ نَّخِيْلٍ وَّاَعْنَابٍۘ لَكُمْ فِيْهَا فَوَاكِهُ كَثِيْرَةٌ وَّمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ۙ١٩
Fa ansya'nā lakum bihī jannātim min nakhīliw wa a‘nāb(in), lakum fīhā fawākihu kaṡīratuw wa minhā ta'kulūn(a).
[19]
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ طُوْرِ سَيْنَاۤءَ تَنْۢبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْاٰكِلِيْنَ٢٠
Wa syajaratan takhruju min ṭūri sainā'a tambutu bid-duhni wa ṣibgil lil-ākilīn(a).
[20]
And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat.
وَاِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى الْاَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةًۗ نُسْقِيْكُمْ مِّمَّا فِيْ بُطُوْنِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيْهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيْرَةٌ وَّمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ۙ٢١
Wa inna lakum fil-an‘āmi la‘ibrah(tan), nusqīkum mimmā fī buṭūnihā wa lakum fīhā manāfi‘u kaṡīratuw wa minhā ta'kulūn(a).
[21]
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.
وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ٢٢
Wa ‘alaihā wa ‘alal-fulki tuḥmalūn(a).
[22]
And upon them and on ships you are carried.
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهٖ فَقَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗۗ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ٢٣
Wa laqad arsalnā nūḥan ilā qaumihī fa qāla yā qaumi‘budullāha mā lakum min ilāhin gairuh(ū), afalā tattaqūn(a).
[23]
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
فَقَالَ الْمَلَؤُا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذَآ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْۙ يُرِيْدُ اَنْ يَّتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْۗ وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰۤىِٕكَةً ۖمَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهٰذَا فِيْٓ اٰبَاۤىِٕنَا الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۚ٢٤
Fa qālal-mala'ul-lażīna kafarū min qaumihī mā hāżā illā basyarum miṡlukum, yurīdu ay yatafaḍḍala ‘alaikum, wa lau syā'allāhu la'anzala malā'ikah(tan), mā sami‘nā bihāżā fī ābā'inal-awwalīn(a).
[24]
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلٌۢ بِهٖ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوْا بِهٖ حَتّٰى حِيْنٍ٢٥
In huwa illā rajulum bihī jinnatun fa tarabbaṣū bihī ḥattā ḥīn(in).
[25]
He is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time."
قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِيْ بِمَا كَذَّبُوْنِ٢٦
Qāla rabbinṣurnī bimā każżabūn(i).
[26]
[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
فَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْهِ اَنِ اصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَاِذَا جَاۤءَ اَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّوْرُۙ فَاسْلُكْ فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَاَهْلَكَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْۚ وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِيْ فِى الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْاۚ اِنَّهُمْ مُّغْرَقُوْنَ٢٧
Fa auḥainā ilaihi aniṣna‘il-fulka bi'a‘yuninā wa waḥyinā fa iżā jā'a amrunā wafārat-tannūr(u), fasluk fīhā min kullin zaujainiṡnaini wa ahlaka illā man sabaqa ‘alaihil-qaulu minhum, wa lā tukhāṭibnī fil-lażīna ẓalamū, innahum mugraqūn(a).
[27]
So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
فَاِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ اَنْتَ وَمَنْ مَّعَكَ عَلَى الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ نَجّٰىنَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ٢٨
Fa iżastawaita anta wa mam ma‘aka ‘alal-fulki fa qulil-ḥamdu lillāhil-lażī najjānā minal-qaumiẓ-ẓālimīn(a).
[28]
And when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us from the wrongdoing people.'
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَنْزِلْنِيْ مُنْزَلًا مُّبٰرَكًا وَّاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِيْنَ٢٩
Wa qur rabbi anzilnī munzalam mubārakaw wa anta khairul-munzilīn(a).
[29]
And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].' "
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ وَّاِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِيْنَ٣٠
Inna fī żālika la'āyātiw wa in kunnā lamubtalīn(a).
[30]
Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants].
ثُمَّ اَنْشَأْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا اٰخَرِيْنَ ۚ٣١
Ṡumma ansya'nā mim ba‘dihim qarnan ākharīn(a).
[31]
Then We produced after them a generation of others.
فَاَرْسَلْنَا فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَيْرُهٗۗ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ࣖ٣٢
Fa arsalnā fīhim rasūlam minhum ani‘budullāha mā lakum min ilāhin gairuh(ū), afalā tattaqūn(a).
[32]
And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
وَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَاۤءِ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَاَتْرَفْنٰهُمْ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۙ مَا هٰذَآ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْۙ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُوْنَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُوْنَ٣٣
Wa qālal-mala'u min qaumihil-lażīna kafarū wa każżabū biliqā'il-ākhirati wa atrafnāhum fil-ḥayātid-dun-yā, mā hāżā illā basyarum miṡlukum, ya'kulu mimmā ta'kulūna minhu wa yasyrabu mimmā tasyrabūn(a).
[33]
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.
وَلَىِٕنْ اَطَعْتُمْ بَشَرًا مِّثْلَكُمْ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ ۙ٣٤
Wa la'in aṭa‘tum basyaram miṡlakum innakum iżal lakhāsirūn(a).
[34]
And if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers.
اَيَعِدُكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنْتُمْ تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا اَنَّكُمْ مُّخْرَجُوْنَ ۖ٣٥
Aya‘idukum annakum iżā mittum wa kuntum turābaw wa ‘iẓāman annakum mukhrajūn(a).
[35]
Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?
۞ هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ ۖ٣٦
Haihāta haihāta limā tū‘adūn(a).
[36]
How far, how far, is that which you are promised.
اِنْ هِيَ اِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوْتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوْثِيْنَ ۖ٣٧
In hiya illā ḥayātunad-dun-yā namūtu wa naḥyā wa mā naḥnu bimab‘ūṡīn(a).
[37]
Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا رَجُلُ ِۨافْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا وَّمَا نَحْنُ لَهٗ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَ٣٨
In huwa illā rajuluniftarā ‘alallāhi każibaw wa mā naḥnu lahū bimu'minīn(a).
[38]
He is not but a man who has invented a lie about Allah, and we will not believe him."
قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِيْ بِمَا كَذَّبُوْنِ٣٩
Qāla rabbinṣurnī bimā każżabūn(i).
[39]
He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."
قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيْلٍ لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ نٰدِمِيْنَ ۚ٤٠
Qāla ‘ammā qalīlil layuṣbiḥunna nādimīn(a).
[40]
[Allah] said, "After a little, they will surely become regretful."
فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ غُثَاۤءًۚ فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ٤١
Fa akhażathumuṣ-ṣaiḥatu bil-ḥaqqi fa ja'alahum guṡā'ā(n), fa bu‘dal lil-qaumiẓ-ẓālimīn(a).
[41]
So the shriek seized them in truth, and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people.
ثُمَّ اَنْشَأْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُوْنًا اٰخَرِيْنَ ۗ٤٢
Ṡumma ansya'nā mim ba‘dihim qurūnan ākharīn(a).
[42]
Then We produced after them other generations.
مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُوْنَ ۗ٤٣
Mā tasbiqu min ummatin ajalahā wa mā yasta'khirūn(a).
[43]
No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter].
ثُمَّ اَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَاۗ كُلَّمَا جَاۤءَ اُمَّةً رَّسُوْلُهَا كَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ بَعْضًا وَّجَعَلْنٰهُمْ اَحَادِيْثَۚ فَبُعْدًا لِّقَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ٤٤
Ṡumma arsalnā rusulanā tatrā, kullamā jā'a ummatar rasūluhā każżabūhu fa atba‘nā ba‘ḍahum ba‘ḍaw wa ja‘alnāhum aḥādīṡ(a), fa bu‘dal liqaumil lā yu'minūn(a).
[44]
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.
ثُمَّ اَرْسَلْنَا مُوْسٰى وَاَخَاهُ هٰرُوْنَ ەۙ بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَسُلْطٰنٍ مُّبِيْنٍۙ٤٥
Ṡumma arsalnā mūsā wa akhāhu hārūn(a), bi'āyātinā wa sulṭānim mubīn(in).
[45]
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and a clear authority
اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَا۟ىِٕهٖ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْا وَكَانُوْا قَوْمًا عَالِيْنَ ۚ٤٦
Ilā fir‘auna wa mala'ihī fastakbarū wa kānū qauman ‘ālīn(a).
[46]
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
فَقَالُوْٓا اَنُؤْمِنُ لِبَشَرَيْنِ مِثْلِنَا وَقَوْمُهُمَا لَنَا عٰبِدُوْنَ ۚ٤٧
Fa qālū anu'minu libasyaraini miṡlinā wa qaumuhumā lanā ‘ābidūn(a).
[47]
They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?"
فَكَذَّبُوْهُمَا فَكَانُوْا مِنَ الْمُهْلَكِيْنَ٤٨
Fa każżabūhumā fa kānū minal-muhlakīn(a).
[48]
So they denied them and were of those destroyed.
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوْسَى الْكِتٰبَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُوْنَ٤٩
Wa laqad ātainā mūsal-kitāba la‘allahum yahtadūn(a).
[49]
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided.
وَجَعَلْنَا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَاُمَّهٗٓ اٰيَةً وَّاٰوَيْنٰهُمَآ اِلٰى رَبْوَةٍ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍ وَّمَعِيْنٍ ࣖ٥٠
Wa ja‘alnabna maryama wa ummahū āyataw wa āwaināhumā ilā rabwatin żāti qarāriw wa ma‘īn(in).
[50]
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوْا مِنَ الطَّيِّبٰتِ وَاعْمَلُوْا صَالِحًاۗ اِنِّيْ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ عَلِيْمٌ ۗ٥١
Yā ayyuhar-rusulu kulū minaṭ-ṭayyibāti wa‘malū ṣāliḥā(n), innī bimā ta‘malūna ‘alīm(un).
[51]
[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing.
وَاِنَّ هٰذِهٖٓ اُمَّتُكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّاَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوْنِ٥٢
Wa inna hāżihī ummatukum ummataw wāḥidataw wa ana rabbukum fattaqūn(i).
[52]
And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me."
فَتَقَطَّعُوْٓا اَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرًاۗ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۢ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُوْنَ٥٣
Fa taqaṭṭa‘ū amrahum bainahum zuburā(n), kullu ḥizbim bimā ladaihim fariḥūn(a).
[53]
But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.
فَذَرْهُمْ فِيْ غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتّٰى حِيْنٍ٥٤
Fa żarhum fī gamratihim ḥattā ḥīn(in).
[54]
So leave them in their confusion for a time.
اَيَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ مَّالٍ وَّبَنِيْنَ ۙ٥٥
Ayaḥsabūna annamā numidduhum bihī mim māliw wabanīn(a).
[55]
Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children
نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِى الْخَيْرٰتِۗ بَلْ لَّا يَشْعُرُوْنَ٥٦
Nusāri‘u lahum fil-khairāt(i), bal lā yasy‘urūn(a).
[56]
Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ رَبِّهِمْ مُّشْفِقُوْنَ ۙ٥٧
Innal-lażīna hum min khasy-yati rabbihim musyfiqūn(a).
[57]
Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۙ٥٨
Wal-lażīna hum bi'āyāti rabbihim yu'minūn(a).
[58]
And they who believe in the signs of their Lord
وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ لَا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ۙ٥٩
Wal-lażīna hum birabbihim lā yusyrikūn(a).
[59]
And they who do not associate anything with their Lord
وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْتُوْنَ مَآ اٰتَوْا وَّقُلُوْبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ اَنَّهُمْ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمْ رٰجِعُوْنَ ۙ٦٠
Wal-lażīna yu'tūna mā ātaw wa qulūbuhum wajilatun annahum ilā rabbihim rāji‘ūn(a).
[60]
And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord -
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِى الْخَيْرٰتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سٰبِقُوْنَ٦١
Ulā'ika yusāri‘ūna fil-khairāti wa hum lahā sābiqūn(a).
[61]
It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا وُسْعَهَاۖ وَلَدَيْنَا كِتٰبٌ يَّنْطِقُ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ٦٢
Wa lā nukallifu nafsan illā wus‘ahā, wa ladainā kitābuy yanṭiqu bil-ḥaqqi wa hum lā yuẓlamūn(a).
[62]
And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.
بَلْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ فِيْ غَمْرَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا وَلَهُمْ اَعْمَالٌ مِّنْ دُوْنِ ذٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عٰمِلُوْنَ٦٣
Bal qulūbuhum fī gamratim min hāżā wa lahum a‘mālum min dūni żālika hum lahā ‘āmilūn(a).
[63]
But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing,
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَآ اَخَذْنَا مُتْرَفِيْهِمْ بِالْعَذَابِ اِذَا هُمْ يَجْـَٔرُوْنَ ۗ٦٤
Ḥattā iżā akhażnā mutrafīhim bil-‘ażābi iżā hum yaj'arūn(a).
[64]
Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help.
لَا تَجْـَٔرُوا الْيَوْمَۖ اِنَّكُمْ مِّنَّا لَا تُنْصَرُوْنَ٦٥
Lā taj'arul-yaum(a), innakum minnā lā tunṣarūn(a).
[65]
Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped.
قَدْ كَانَتْ اٰيٰتِيْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْ تَنْكِصُوْنَ ۙ٦٦
Qad kānat āyātī tutlā ‘alaikum fa kuntum ‘alā a‘qābikum tankiṣūn(a).
[66]
My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels
مُسْتَكْبِرِيْنَۙ بِهٖ سٰمِرًا تَهْجُرُوْنَ٦٧
Mustakbirīn(a), bihī sāmiran tahjurūn(a).
[67]
In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil.
اَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ اَمْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ اٰبَاۤءَهُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۖ٦٨
Afalam yaddabbarul-qaula am jā'ahum mā lam ya'ti ābā'ahumul-awwalīn(a).
[68]
Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers?
اَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوْا رَسُوْلَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَهٗ مُنْكِرُوْنَ ۖ٦٩
Am lam ya‘rifū rasūlahum fahum lahū munkirūn(a).
[69]
Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging?
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ بِهٖ جِنَّةٌ ۗ بَلْ جَاۤءَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كٰرِهُوْنَ٧٠
Am yaqūlūna bihī jinnah(tun), bal jā'ahum bil-ḥaqqi wa akṡaruhum lil-ḥaqqi kārihūn(a).
[70]
Or do they say, "In him is madness?" Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse.
وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ اَهْوَاۤءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمٰوٰتُ وَالْاَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيْهِنَّۗ بَلْ اَتَيْنٰهُمْ بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ۗ٧١
Wa lawittaba‘al-ḥaqqu ahwā'ahum lafasadatis-samāwātu wal-arḍu wa man fīhinn(a), bal ataināhum biżikrihim fahum ‘an żikrihim mu‘riḍūn(a).
[71]
But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away.
اَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ خَرْجًا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ ۖوَّهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ٧٢
Am tas'aluhum kharjan fa kharāju rabbika khair(un), wa huwa khairur-rāziqīn(a).
[72]
Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers.
وَاِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ٧٣
Wa innaka latad‘ūhum ilā ṣirāṭim mustaqīm(in).
[73]
And indeed, you invite them to a straight path.
وَاِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنٰكِبُوْنَ٧٤
Wa innal-lażīna lā yu'minūna bil-ākhirati ‘aniṣ-ṣirāṭi lanākibūn(a).
[74]
But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path.
۞ وَلَوْ رَحِمْنٰهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِمْ مِّنْ ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوْا فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ٧٥
Wa lau raḥimnāhum wa kasyafnā mā bihim min ḍurril lalajjū fī ṭugyānihim ya‘mahūn(a).
[75]
And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
وَلَقَدْ اَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوْا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُوْنَ٧٦
Wa laqad akhażnāhum bil-‘ażābi famastakānū lirabbihim wa mā yataḍarra‘ūn(a).
[76]
And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus]
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيْدٍ اِذَا هُمْ فِيْهِ مُبْلِسُوْنَ ࣖ٧٧
Ḥattā iżā fataḥnā ‘alaihim bāban żā ‘ażābin syadīdin iżā hum fīhi mublisūn(a).
[77]
Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْشَاَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْاَبْصَارَ وَالْاَفْـِٕدَةَۗ قَلِيْلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُوْنَ٧٨
Wa huwal-lażī yuḥyī wa yumītu wa lahukhtilāful-laili wan-nahār(i), afalā ta‘qilūn(a).
[78]
And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ ذَرَاَكُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَاِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ٧٩
Bal qālū miṡla mā qālal-awwalūn(a).
[79]
And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ٨٠
Qālū a'iżā mitnā wa kunnā turābaw wa ‘iẓāman a'innā lamab‘ūṡūn(a).
[80]
And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?
بَلْ قَالُوْا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ٨١
Laqad wu‘idnā naḥnu wa ābā'unā hāżā min qablu in hāżā illā asāṭīrul-awwalīn(a).
[81]
Rather, they say like what the former peoples said.
قَالُوْٓا ءَاِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَ٨٢
Qālū a'iżā mitnā wa kunnā turābaw wa ‘iẓāman a'innā lamab‘ūṡūn(a).
[82]
They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَاٰبَاۤؤُنَا هٰذَا مِنْ قَبْلُ اِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّآ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ٨٣
Laqad wu‘idnā naḥnu wa ābā'unā hāżā min qablu in hāżā illā asāṭīrul-awwalīn(a).
[83]
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples."
قُلْ لِّمَنِ الْاَرْضُ وَمَنْ فِيْهَآ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ٨٤
Qul limanil-arḍu wa man fīhā in kuntum ta‘lamūn(a).
[84]
Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?"
سَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ ۗقُلْ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ٨٥
Sayaqūlūna lillāh(i), qul afalā tażakkarūn(a).
[85]
They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?"
قُلْ مَنْ رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ٨٦
Qul mar rabbus-samāwātis-sab‘i wa rabbul-‘arsyil-‘aẓīm(i).
[86]
Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?"
سَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ ۗقُلْ اَفَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ٨٧
Sayaqūlūna lillāh(i), qul afalā tattaqūn(a).
[87]
They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?"
قُلْ مَنْۢ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَكُوْتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّهُوَ يُجِيْرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ٨٨
Qul mam biyadihī malakūtu kulli syai'iw wa huwa yujīru wa lā yujāru ‘alaihi in kuntum ta‘lamūn(a).
[88]
Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"
سَيَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ ۗقُلْ فَاَنّٰى تُسْحَرُوْنَ٨٩
Sayaqūlūna lillāh(i), qul fa annā tusḥarūn(a).
[89]
They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"
بَلْ اَتَيْنٰهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَاِنَّهُمْ لَكٰذِبُوْنَ٩٠
Bal ataināhum bil-ḥaqqi wa innahum lakāżibūn(a).
[90]
Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.
مَا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ وَّمَا كَانَ مَعَهٗ مِنْ اِلٰهٍ اِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ اِلٰهٍۢ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۗ سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَ ۙ٩١
Mattakhażallāhu miw waladiw wa mā kāna ma‘ahū min ilāhin iżal lażahaba kullu ilāhim bimā khalaqa wa la‘alā ba‘ḍuhum ‘alā ba‘ḍ(in), subḥānallāhi ‘ammā yaṣifūn(a).
[91]
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].
عٰلِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ࣖ٩٢
‘Ālimil-gaibi wasy-syahādati fa ta‘ālā ‘ammā yusyrikūn(a).
[92]
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him].
قُلْ رَّبِّ اِمَّا تُرِيَنِّيْ مَا يُوْعَدُوْنَ ۙ٩٣
Qur rabbi immā turiyannī mā yū‘adūn(a).
[93]
Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِيْ فِى الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ٩٤
Rabbi falā taj‘alnī fil-qaumiẓ-ẓālimīn(a).
[94]
My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people."
وَاِنَّا عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقٰدِرُوْنَ٩٥
Wa innā ‘alā an nuriyaka mā na‘iduhum laqādirūn(a).
[95]
And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them.
اِدْفَعْ بِالَّتِيْ هِيَ اَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَۗ نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُوْنَ٩٦
Idfa‘ bil-latī hiya aḥsanus-sayyi'ah(ta), naḥnu a‘lamu bimā yaṣifūn(a).
[96]
Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِيْنِ ۙ٩٧
Wa qur rabbi a‘ūżu bika min hamazātisy-syayāṭīn(i).
[97]
And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils,
وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ رَبِّ اَنْ يَّحْضُرُوْنِ٩٨
Wa a‘ūżu bika rabbi ay yaḥḍurūn(i).
[98]
And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا جَاۤءَ اَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُوْنِ ۙ٩٩
Ḥattā iżā jā'a aḥadahumul-mautu qāla rabbirji‘ūn(i).
[99]
[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back
لَعَلِّيْٓ اَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيْمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا ۗاِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَاۤىِٕلُهَاۗ وَمِنْ وَّرَاۤىِٕهِمْ بَرْزَخٌ اِلٰى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُوْنَ١٠٠
La‘allī a‘malu ṣāliḥan fīmā taraktu kallā, innahā kalimatun huwa qā'iluhā, wa miw warā'ihim barzakhun ilā yaumi yub‘aṡūn(a).
[100]
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.
فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَلَآ اَنْسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ وَّلَا يَتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ١٠١
Fa iżā nufikha fiṣ-ṣūri falā ansāba bainahum yauma'iżiw wa lā yatasā'alūn(a).
[101]
So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.
فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ١٠٢
Faman ṡaqulat mawāzīnuhū fa ulā'ika humul-mufliḥūn(a).
[102]
And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فِيْ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدُوْنَ ۚ١٠٣
Wa man khaffat mawāzīnuhū fa ulā'ikal-lażīna khasirū anfusahum fī jahannama khālidūn(a).
[103]
But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.
تَلْفَحُ وُجُوْهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيْهَا كٰلِحُوْنَ١٠٤
Talfaḥu wujūhahumun-nāru wa hum fīhā kāliḥūn(a).
[104]
The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles.
اَلَمْ تَكُنْ اٰيٰتِيْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوْنَ١٠٥
Alam takun āyātī tutlā ‘alaikum fa kuntum bihā tukażżibūn(a).
[105]
[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"
قَالُوْا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَاۤلِّيْنَ١٠٦
Qālū rabbanā galabat ‘alainā syiqwatunā wa kunnā qauman ḍāllīn(a).
[106]
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.
رَبَّنَآ اَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَاِنْ عُدْنَا فَاِنَّا ظٰلِمُوْنَ١٠٧
Rabbanā akhrijnā minhā fa in ‘udnā fa innā ẓālimūn(a).
[107]
Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers."
قَالَ اخْسَـُٔوْا فِيْهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُوْنِ١٠٨
Qālakhsa'ū fīhā wa lā tukallimūn(i).
[108]
He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ۚ١٠٩
Innahū kāna farīqum min ‘ibādī yaqūlūna rabbanā āmannā fagfir lanā warḥamnā wa anta khairur-rāḥimīn(a).
[109]
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوْهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتّٰىٓ اَنْسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِيْ وَكُنْتُمْ مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُوْنَ١١٠
Fattakhażtumūhum sikhriyyan ḥattā ansaukum żikrī wa kuntum minhum taḍḥakūn(a).
[110]
But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.
اِنِّيْ جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوْٓاۙ اَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَاۤىِٕزُوْنَ١١١
Innī jazaituhumul-yauma bimā ṣabarū, annahum humul-fā'izūn(a).
[111]
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]."
قٰلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِيْنَ١١٢
Qāla kam labiṡtum fil-arḍi ‘adada sinīn(a).
[112]
[Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?"
قَالُوْا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا اَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَسْـَٔلِ الْعَاۤدِّيْنَ١١٣
Qālū labiṡnā yauman au baḍa yaumin fas'alil-‘āddīn(a).
[113]
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
قٰلَ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا لَّوْ اَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ١١٤
Qāla il labiṡtum illā qalīlal lau annakum kuntum ta‘lamūn(a).
[114]
He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.
اَفَحَسِبْتُمْ اَنَّمَا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَّاَنَّكُمْ اِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ١١٥
Afa ḥasibtum annamā khalaqnākum ‘abaṡaw wa annakum ilainā lā turja‘ūn(a).
[115]
Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?"
فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّۚ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ١١٦
Fa ta‘ālallāhul-malikul-ḥaqq(u), lā ilāha illā huw(a), rabbul-‘arsyil-karīm(i).
[116]
So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.
وَمَنْ يَّدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهٗ بِهٖۙ فَاِنَّمَا حِسَابُهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖۗ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ١١٧
Wa may yad‘u ma‘allāhi ilāhan ākhara lā burhāna lahū bih(ī), fa innamā ḥisābuhū ‘inda rabbih(ī), innahū lā yufliḥul-kāfirūn(a).
[117]
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ࣖ١١٨
Wa qur rabbigfir warḥam wa anta khairur-rāḥimīn(a).

And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
